POLICE this week issued a fresh appeal for witnesses after a 28-year-old woman was robbed of her purse in Mill Road, Hamilton, on Sunday, October 12, at 2.15am
The woman was returning home from a night out when she was approached by two men who asked her for money to get home.
She agreed to give them some money when they stole her purse containing a three-figure sum of cash.
During the robbery, the woman sustained a slight injury to her face.
The first suspect is described as 5ft 7ins to 5ft 8ins tall, slim, aged between 25 and 30, with dark brown hair.
He was wearing a dark top and blue denims.
His accomplice was described as 5ft 9ins to 5ft 10ins, aged between 22 and 25, of medium build with cropped dark brown hair.
He was wearing a white T-shirt, with a thick silver-type chain around his neck.
