A NEW scheme to help the blind has been launched. The Lanarkshire Low Vision project provides an integrated approach and response to providing treatment, care and support for any individuals affected by sight loss.
The scheme brings together health, education, community optometrists, social services and the voluntary sector to provide an integrated service for both adults and children affected by sight loss.
A spokesman said: “The Low Vision Project is a new approach to helping people with sight loss make the most of their remaining sight.”
