Self-esteem project

PARENTS of pupils from Calderside and John Ogilvie Learning Communities have been working with Home School Partnership and senior school staff to develop a Self Esteem Building programme forpupils.

The group have worked closely with school staff to build a four-week personal and social education programme, aimed at supporting young people to become confident learners and effective contributors.

The programme focuses on the emotional state of the young person and aims to raise confidence and self-esteem through a range of practical and discussion exercises, which will be led by parents and school staff.
