Linda calls it a day after 32 years’ service

SNAP-ON Tools in Hamilton saw the end of an era last week when branch secretary Linda Cowie retired.

Now she will dedicate herself to her passion, her family.

Linda started with Snap-on in 1976 and has provided a high level of support for the 55 franchisees in Scotland and the whole of Ireland that operate from the Hamilton branch in Fullwood Industrial Estate.

A celebration lunch was held last week, and Terry Barcham, the managing director, flew to Scotland for the occasion.

Attending the lunch, Linda was thanked for her service by Terry Barcham, managing director; Linda Cowie, and Dave Wilson, fellow branch manager, who all have a total of 100 years’ service with Snap-on.
