Guilty to drink drive charge

A HAMILTON woman has admitted driving while under the influence of alcohol.

Sharon McDonald (37), of Hillhead Terrace, drove a black Vauxhall Corsa on September 7 with 67 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.

The legal limit is 35 microgrammes per 100 millilitres.

The offence took place on Hillhouse Road in Hamilton.

At Hamilton Sheriff Court last week, Sheriff Rae Small deferred sentence on McDonald until October 29.
