A SUPERMARKET in Larkhall is set for a massive £¾m revamp. The new-look Scottish Co-Operative in Union Street will open to customers on Thursday, October 30.
Store manager Paul Barrie said: “This store is being totally transformed and will offer the community a much-enhanced range of fresh and premium products.”
As well as its smart new look, more space and shopper-friendly layout, other features of the store include a deli counter, a hot-food-to-go range, a bakery and improved product range.
Mr Barrie added: “This revamp represents a major investment in Larkhall by The Scottish Co-operative and reinforces our commitment to remaining at the heart of the community.”
The Co-op has 4500 outlets across the UK, including its travel, pharmacy, funeral service and bank.
