Hamilton Police hurt in smash

TWO police officers were injured in a two-car crash in Hamilton on Sunday.

The officers and a man were all taken to Hairmyres Hospital by an ambulance after the collision in Burnbank Road at around 8.45pm.

All three were later released.

A 29-year-old man has been reported to the procurator fiscal in connection with the accident.
