Hamilton Town House to host music tuition course

A COURSE for people who aim to follow in the footsteps of guitar heroes Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix will take place in Hamilton.

A 10-week taster block of introduction to keyboard and guitar classes for adults is all set to begin at Hamilton Town House this month.

The classes will be taken by one of South Lanarkshire Council's experienced tutors.

They are suitable for any music enthusiast with little or no experience of playing the keyboard or guitar.

Stage 1 is for those with some experience and Stage 2 is for those with fairly well-developed playing skills.

Classes take place at Hamilton Town House each Monday beginning September 15 and run until December 1.

Times are: 7-8pm: Introduction to Guitar and Introduction to Keyboards; 8-9pm: Stage 1 Guitar and stage 1-2 Keyboards (mixed ability class).
