Woman robbed in Hamilton

A WOMAN was robbed in Hamilton on Tuesday night.

The 27-year-old had been walking along Burnbank Road at about 10.45pm when she was approached by a man with a knife and demanded cash.

She handed over a three-figure sum of money before the man made off in the direction of Argyle Drive.

The man is described as aged between 26 and 32, 5ft 10ins in height and of medium build.

He was wearing a white hooded top, dark trousers and white trainers.
