Tail-wagging weekend for all dogs

THIS weekend sees the return of North Lanarkshire Council’s Good Dog Weekend.
Strathclyde Park will host one of the events on Saturday.
North Lanarkshire dog owners are invited to take their pets along to the event, where a range of services and advice will be on offer.
Council dog wardens will be providing a free dog-chipping service, which protects dogs against theft and loss by providing them with a unique identity code.
The Dogs Trust, PDSA and SSPCA will also be on hand to provide animal health and welfare advice.
Visitors will also be able to collect free poop scoops and bags to help them pick up after their pets.
