Still time to nominate unsung health heroes for Scottish awards

PEOPLE in Lanarkshire are being urged to nominate unsung healthcare heroes for this year’s Scottish Health Awards.
Hundreds of nominations have already been received for healthcare professionals from across Scotland but many more individuals and teams deserve to be recognised and local people are being called on to support their healthcare heroes before nominations close next week.
The awards, supported by the Scottish Government, highlight the important and valuable contribution that NHS staff make to people’s lives across Scotland.
They honour those who play their part in transforming lives, curing illnesses, promoting healthier lifestyles or making patient’s healthcare experiences that little bit more comfortable.

Applications must be received by Monday, September 8.
