Samba band course at Hamilton Town House

HAMILTON Town House are looking for adults to join their Samba Band.

All levels of ability are welcomed on this 12-week course, and an experienced tutor will be provided to teach participants the rhythms and playing styles associated with samba music.

The samba band will also have the opportunity to showcase their talent at a special event in December.

The course will run between 6pm and 7.30pm on Wednesday evenings from September 17 until December 3 (excluding October 3).

The distinctive and lively Afro musical style that is Samba originated in Brazil after the abolition of slavery.
