OLD PARISH: Presbytery reader Stuart McIlroy will conduct the service at Uddingston Old Parish Church on Sunday at 11am.

From September there will be two services at the church each Sunday, at 9.30am and 11am.

Members of the congregation who require the services of a minister should phone Rev Michael Lyall on 813113.

PRAYER FOR HEALING: The monthly Prayer for Healing service will be held at Park Church on September 2 at 10.30am. All welcome.

PARK CHURCH: Worship at Park United Free Church next Sunday is at 10.30am.

The Harvest Thanksgiving service will be held on Sunday, September 7. Donations of tinned goods and toiletries suitable for ladies and gents would be appreciated. These will be given to the Glasgow City Mission.

The coffee service continues on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 9.45am till 11.45am each day.

BOTHWELL Philharmonic Choir begin rehearsals in Bothwell Parish Church on Sunday at 7pm.

The choir were established eight years ago and have performed at many successful charity fund-raising events.

Members are encouraged to develop their vocal skills under the expert guidance of musical director, Mark Donnelly.

New members will be made welcome, particularly altos, tenors and basses.
