Bellshill man 'touched' himself in public

A BELLSHILL man who touched himself sexually in public was last week put on probation for three years.

Paul Cowan (44), of Kirklee Road, committed the breach of the peace in Old Edinburgh Road, Viewpark, on April 22.

Sheriff Danny Scullion, at Hamilton Sheriff Court, imposed the three-year probation term and placed Cowan on the Sex Offenders’ Register for the same period.
