Groups urged to seek Lotto cash

THE Heritage Lottery Fund are looking for groups from South Lanarkshire to apply for funding as there has been so few applications from the area over the last few years.

Two workshops have been set up by South Lanarkshire Council and the Heritage Lottery Fund to answer general questions on the funding packages available and how to access them.

The first takes place at Rutherglen Town Hall on Friday, August 22, at 10am for coffee before starting at 10.30am.

The second will be held in the River Room, The Institute, New Lanark, again at 10am for coffee before starting at 10.30am.
