LOOKING for something to do on Saturday mornings?
Then go along to Hamilton District Arts Guild’s Saturday Morning Classes, from 10am until noon, in St Mary’s Primary School off Cadzow Street and Windmill Road, Hamilton.
Children from the age of eight can join either keyboard or guitar classes (so long as they have their own instrument). There will be a class charge per morning of £2 or £18 to cover the full term, giving two mornings free, plus a guild membership fee of £8 for the entire year.
Children aged six and upwards might like arts and crafts and there is no need to take along any materials. Costs are the same as the music classes.
The adult art group with a new tutor for this year welcomes everyone whether beginner or more experienced.
Ladies might opt for the stitch club which is open to anyone who has an inclination to stitch craft in a friendly setting with a tutor.
Costs for adults are £3 per class or an initial payment of £27 (two mornings being free).
Membership of the guild is, in addition £10 for the full arts guild’s season.
People can enrol at St Mary’s Primary School on Saturday, August 30, from 10am till noon.
