Volunteers needed to help animal charity

THE Scottish SPCA are appealing for volunteers to help raise crucial funds during Scottish Animal Week, which runs from September 1-6.

The Scottish SPCA's Lanarkshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre cared for more than 2600 abandoned and abused animals last year.

Scottish Animal Week is a hugely important time for the charity as it is the one week of the year when they are allowed to fund-raise in public.

To volunteer to help during Scottish Animal Week, contact Carol Dyer on 07921 409021 or log on to www.scottishspca.org.
