Hamilton university campus gears up for post-exam enquiries

THE University of the West of Scotland is this week expecting to handle calls from Lanarkshire school and college leavers keen to find a place at the institution.

Enquirers can access information on the most suitable programmes to match their qualifications and interests from University Direct, the UWS’ award-winning enquiry service.

And they can get direct confirmation of a place on one of the university’s degrees if their grades match UWS’ clearing entry requirements.

Staff will also be on hand to deal with enquiries from A-level candidates, college leavers, and adults seeking to return to study, regarding the suitability of their qualifications for entry.

University Direct can be contacted on freephone 0800 027 1000 and can be used by anyone who wants to study at UWS campuses in Ayr, Dumfries, Hamilton or Paisley.

Enquirers can also visit www.uws.ac.uk/clearing and complete an online entry form to find out more about courses.
