Social work staff race to raise funds for hospice

KILBRYDE Hospice fund-raising manager Lynn Stewart received a cheque from South Lanarkshire Council trainee personnel officer Karen Martin for the hospice appeal.

Staff from the social work department raised £850 by running the Glasgow 10K race in May. Lynn said: “We are delighted to have received this money.”

The staff involved were Nicole Pollock, Jean Wilson, Debbie Christie, Lisa Blair, Michelle Hendry and Leanne McDougall.
