Uni hosts American students

UNIVERSITY of the West of Scotland last month hosted 15 American students to take part in a course on the Scottish criminal justice system.

The students, who are all studying Criminal Justice at Washburn University, Kansas, undertook the course at UWS's Hamilton campus from June 16 - 27.

As well as learning about the Scottish court and prison systems, students also took field trips to the Scottish Parliament, Glasgow’s High Court and Barlinnie Prison.
