Get your skates on to raise charity cash at Strathclyde Park

A SPONSORED charity roller skate is set to take place in Strathclyde Park this Saturday (July 26).

The event, which has been organised by Blantyre’s KAOS SK8 shop, will raise cash for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Those wishing to get involved can wear roller/disco skates, in-line recreational skates or even Heelys.

Participant must provide their own equipment, including safety gear if they chose to wear it.

The event kicks off at 11am, at the car park across from M&Ds at the adventure playground.

Each entrant will have to raise a minimum sponsorship of £20.

They will also receive a raffle ticket with the chance to win one of a number of prizes.
