Games tables prove popular with pupils

PLAYGROUND PASTIME: pupils from Hamilton’s Chatelherault Primary are delighted with their new games tables, which take pride of place in the school playground.

The picnic-style benches will allow children to play a variety of games, including table football, at lunchtime and break times.

The school’s eco committee chose the tables and South Lanarkshire Council’s Pride of Place helped build them.
