Dance and drama project under way

A STREET dance and drama project kicks off this week in the newly-built South Lanarkshire Lifestyles Centre in Fairhill.

The street dance workshops began from Wednesday, July 23, and continue on July 30, and August 6 and 13.

Times are as follows: 1pm-1.45pm - 5-7 years; 2pm-3pm - 8-12 years and 3pm-4pm - 13-16years.

You don't need to have any previous street dance experience to learn all the latest moves to Urban beats.

Drama workshops began today (Thursday) and also take place on July 31 and August 7 and 14.

These are scheduled as follows: 1pm-2pm - 5-7 years; 2.30pm-3.30pm - 8-9 years and 4pm-5.30pm - 10-16years.

IN2act presents Daytrip – fun learning about drama and theatre skills.

Both workshops are free.

All you need is loose clothing, trainers and some water.
