Silent auction at Hamilton church will aid celebration funds

HAMILTON Old Parish Church are holding a silent auction to raise funds in support of their 275th anniversary celebrations in 2009.

The auction will start at 7pm in the church halls, Strathmore Road, on Friday, September 5.

Tickets for the evening cost £2, which includes complimentary refreshments.

Donations for the event would also be appreciated.

Arrangements can be made to have items uplifted by phoning the above numbers.

Names will be taken in the Pillar Hall on Sunday for the visit to Low Parks Museum and the Mausoleum on Sunday, August 10.

The cost of £6 includes a light lunch at the museum and a tour of the Mausoleum.
