Primary school choirs honoured by Supercounty

TALENTED pupils from local primary schools have been recognised for their contribution to the 2008 Lanarkshire Schools’ Choir Festival.

Certificates of distinction were presented to pupils of Glenlee and St Mark’s primaries in Hamilton, and St Patrick’s in Strathaven.

Ian Livingstone, chairman of Supercounty who organised the crowd-pulling event, said: “These certificates will serve to remind pupils what their fellow pupils can achieve and will hopefully inspire them to develop their own talents.”
