Golden time for Crusaders

WHITEHILL Crusaders LOL142 celebrated their 50th anniversary celebrations with Provost Russell Clearie hosting the Civic Reception on Thursday, June 19, in Council Offices, Hamilton.
The Whitehill Crusaders LOL142 was opened on June 28, 1958, with meetings held originally in the Whitehill Church until April 2000 when, as the church closed, they moved to the Gilmour Church in Burnbank before moving to the Lollard Halls which is run by LOL159.
Provost Russell Clearie hands over a 'Challenge Vase' to Worthy Master George Swandells while Councillors Barry Douglas, Mary Smith, Davie McLachlan and LOL members look on.
