FERNIEGAIR Gala Day will take place on Saturday, June 28.
The gala parade will be led by Stonehouse Pipe Band and will leave the village’s Clyde Avenue in the village about noon.
It will then proceed to Ferniegair Football Club, Carlisle Road.
All children are welcome to join the parade in fancy dress.
Floats and decorated cars are also welcome to join in the fun.
The gala day will be officially opened by village couple Danny and Janet McGraw.
Gala activities will include a slide and bouncy castle, airbrush tattoos, a rodeo bull, stalls, tombola, pick-a-stick, Danny’s Barras and refreshments and home baking stalls.
Provost Russell Clearie will be attending alongside councillors Barry Douglas, Mary Smith, David McLachlan and MSP Tom McCabe and his wife Shu Ming.
A gala dance is also set to take place later that day in Ferniegair Hall from 7.30pm to 12.30am, where everyone will be entertained by the band ‘So Driven’.
A bar service is available to purchase drinks, and a buffet is included in the dinner-dance ticket price of £7.
