Portraits of South Lanarkshire carers

AN exhibition of carers’ portraits will have its official opening at a reception at Chatelherault today (Thursday, June 12).

24 Hours is a series of portraits of carers, each one showing the carer seated on the sofa in their own home alongside the person they care for.

Jim Wilson, Head of Older Peoples' Services for South Lanarkshire, will formally open the exhibition at noon.

Three carers from Lanarkshire who took part in the exhibition will be present at the opening and the husband of one of them will be a speaker.
