VAT cut bid
CENTRAL Scotland SNP MSP Alex Neilclaimed the case for a cut in VAT for all building repair and maintenance work was now “overwhelming.”
The Federation of Master Builders are campaigning to have the rate reduced from 17.5 per cent to five per cent.
