Extra surgery for Hamilton councillor

SNP councillor Barry Douglas this week announced that he will hold an extra surgery in Hamilton.

People will be able to bend the Hamilton and North East councillor’s ear at the new surgery held on the second Tuesday of each month at Woodside Primary, Johnstone Road, from 5.30pm to 6.15pm.

Councillor Douglas said the new surgery will give people in Barncluith and Hamilton town centre a better chance to speak to him about any problems they may have.

He said: “Following the election last May, I have held regular surgeries throughout the ward.

“Often these surgeries are very busy and as a result I felt I should provide an additional location for constituents to see me.”

Councillor Douglas holds regular surgeries at The Townhouse, Ferniegair Hall, Whitehill Neighbourhood Centre, Hunter Road, Hamilton, and Glenlee Primary School, Burnbank.
