BONMARCHE staff raised £230 for charity by selling and releasing balloons.
The money is part of an on-going charity fund-raising campaign by the store for the Stillbirth And Neo-natal death Society (SANDS).
On April 13, 2003, Bonmarche area manager Sean Casey and his wife Sian lost their daughter Ciara, who was stillborn.
The couple have pledged to raise £40,000 for the charity.
And staff in the Hamilton branch have promised the couple £1000 to reach their £40,000 target.
They will do this by completing a variety of fund-raising initiatives and the balloon release is the first of these.
Bonmarche staff thanked everyone involved who bought a balloon, as well as the Card Factory staff for support too.
