Invite to NHS Lanarkshire birthday party

NHS Lanarkshire would like to invite retired staff members to a special 60th birthday party.

The event in the Hilton Hotel in Strathclyde Business Park is one of the many events NHS Lanarkshire have organised as part of their NHS 60th anniversary celebrations.

All former NHS staff in Lanarkshire are invited to put their name forward to attend the afternoon tea which will take place at the Hilton on July 30 at 1pm.

Hugh Sweeney, NHS Lanarkshire’s Employee Director, said: “We would like to pay tribute to all the staff whose dedication and hard work have helped thousands of patients over the years.

“We would love to hear from retired staff or perhaps you would like to nominate someone — a friend, former colleague or family member — who used to be employed in the health service in Lanarkshire to attend this special event.”

Numbers for the event are limited, so those wishing to nominate someone or attend themselves should contact Marysia Morkis at Strathclyde Hospital, Motherwell, on 01698 245299.
