A HAMILTON photography firm have scooped 15 awards in a prestigious photographic competition.
Premier Photography, in Quarry Street, picked up more awards than any other photographers in Scotland at the Masters Photographers Assocation (MPA) awards in Edinburgh.
MPA are the leading organisation within the photographic industry and pride themselves on the quality of members. Membership of the Association is only open to full-time professional photographers.
Premier picked up 15 awards for the most creative images in portrait and weddings. The firm were also awarded first place for the Most Innovative image of Serena Caira, a youngster from Little Earnock in Hamilton.
Elaine Dempsey, owner of Premier Photography, said: “It is a marvellous achievement to win so many awards and I believe it is a reflection of Premier’s skill and creativity. We are honoured to be recognised by our fellow professionals for our commitment to our clients in both weddings and portraits.”
To celebrate their success, Premier Photography are offering Advertiser readers a free sitting at their studio until June 31.
In 2006, Premier picked up a top accolade at Scotland’s wedding industry awards. They scooped the prize at the VOWS awards held at the Glasgow Hilton, attended by over 550 guests from firms who excelled in the wedding industry.
Brides and grooms were invited to nominate suppliers they felt had provided them with an excellent service during the lead-up to their big day.
And Premier received the highest rating scores in the Wedding Photography category.
