Burnbank Dog charity success

TWO recent charity events at the Greenfield Social Club in Burnbank have raised over £1200 for the Greyhound Awareness League.

A spokesman for the charity, which aims to rehome and care for greyhounds, said: “We really appreciate the effort that so many people went to in order to support these events.

“I would especially like to thank psychic Ricky Martin for his agreeing to take part in the psychic night.”

In total £1236 was raised at the club.
