Art exhibition heads for Chatelherault

AN art exhibition will be staged at Chatelherault Country Park in Hamilton next week.

The exhibition will be held from Saturday, May 24, until Sunday, June 1.

The event will showcase the work of Hillhouse and Earnock art groups and offer visitors the chance to buy some rare pieces of art created by local artists.

Councillor Tommy Gilligan will attend the preview of the exhibition at 7.30pm to 9pm on Friday, May 23.

The exhibition is then open to the public from 10am to 4.30pm Monday to Saturday and from noon till 4.30pm on Sunday. Admission to the exhibition is free.

A spokesperson for the groups said that there will be a wide range of work on display and for general sale.
