Townswomen's Guild hear charity talk
HAMILTON Townswomen’s Guild enjoyed an excellent meeting on Monday.
The guest speaker was Liz Anderton from the charity Visibility. Liz spoke about the work of the charity and how she became involved with it.
Various aids for the visually handicapped were on display. Members also had the opportunity to try on glasses which gave a better understanding of what having a visual impairment is like.
Marie Hannah proposed the vote of thanks.
