Appeal for new puppy walkers

THE Guide Dogs Charity are appealing this week for puppy walkers.

Volunteer puppy walkers should be able to commit to caring for a puppy in their home from age six weeks until the animal is 14 months old.

At that stage the dog returns to the charity to begin specialised guide dog training which will hopefully make it an invaluable companion for a blind person.

To find out more about the scheme, visit www.guidedogs.org.uk/puppywalking, email volunteer@guidedogs.org.uk or call Guide Dogs on 0845 371 7771.
