Warning about bogus builders
RESIDENTS across Lanarkshire are being urged to only select approved builders — in a bid to crack down on rogue traders.
The Federation of Master Builders (FMB), the UK's largest building trade association, has set up a dedicated consumer website, www.findabuilder.co.uk, where people can select an FMB approved builder in their area.
Only builders and specialists who can prove their skills and good business standing are accepted as members of the FMB.
