Bluebells group needs new leader

HAMILTON Old Parish Bluebells need a leader for the new session that begins in September. The group, which is open to girls aged from five to seven, meet in the church hall on Tuesdays at 6.15pm.

Meetings offer youngsters the opportunity to take part in various activities, while learning to work and play together. Anyone interested in taking part should phone the church office on 281905.

Nancy Naismith, wife of Old Parish Elder Jim Naismith, is taking part in the Glasgow Ladies 10K in May 18. She will run in aid of Lanarkshire Cancer Care Trust’s Volunteer Driver Service.

Anyone wishing to sponsor Nancy should contact Jim Naismith, Louis Munn, Beth Stoddart or Jim Maxwell, or phone the church office on the above number.

Hamilton Camera Club will hold their end-of-season AGM in the church hall today (Thursday) at 7.30pm.

Teas and coffees are served in the church hall on Saturday at 10am.
