Search begins for the face of North Lanarkshire summer guide

YOUNGSTERS are invited to attend an opportunity to be the face for Breakout, North Lanarkshire Council’s summer guide for children and young people.

The free summer activity guide reaches every primary school pupil in North Lanarkshire with over 30,000 copies distributed.

The council is looking for the face for 2008, and children going along to any of the photography venues are invited to get into the summer spirit wearing bright clothes, cool hats and shades.

Face painters will also be on hand, giving youngsters the chance to transform into a cartoon character.

Photocalls will be held at ASDA superstores throughout the North Lanarkshire authority and the sessions will be held on the following dates:

Thursday, May 1; Motherwell Asda (4pm to 4.45pm).

The winner will feature on the front cover of Breakout and receive a framed copy of their picture.
