NHS Lanarkshire will hold a fun day in Strathclyde Park this summer to celebrate 60 years of the NHS.
The free event is on Sunday, June 22, and is being organised in partnership with North and South Lanarkshire councils.
It will take place from 11am to 4pm and offers everyone the opportunity try out a range of sports — from golf and football to martial arts and dance. There will be health tests for all family members and blood donations.
NHS Lanarkshire employee director Hugh Sweeney said: “The day is all about learning to keep fit and healthy and how much fun it can be.”
NHS Lanarkshire want anyone with stories or pictures of the NHS over the past 60 years to get in touch.
