Townswomen’s Guild take tram trip back in time

MEMBERS of Hamilton Townswomen’s Guild enjoyed an evening of social history in the company of speaker Rev. Charles Herriot at their latest meeting.

They were taken back in time to the days of the Glasgow trams and were also able to relive memories of journeys taken through Glasgow and Falkirk.

The next meeting will be held in Low Waters Hall, Eliot Crescent, on Monday, May 12.

Members should note that the date of this meeting has been changed due to the public holiday.

All ladies will be made welcome at the meeting.
