TWO Bellshill men have been accused of brandishing a machete.
Ronald Cameron (55), of Bellview Crescent, and Edward Henderson (47), of Golf Avenue, both denied entering Matthew Mann snr’s flat in the town’s Blackmoss Drive before threatening him with the weapon.
Cameron and Henderson are also accused of repeatedly punching Mr Mann snr on the face, and repeatedly punching his son, Matthew Mann jnr, on the face.
Cameron is further accused of damaging a glass door panel — at the same address — with a cricket bat.
It is alleged that all of the offences took place on April 5.
At Hamilton Sheriff Court last week, both men denied all the charges.
Sheriff John Stewart set the trial for June and granted Cameron and Henderson bail meantime.
