HAMILTON Soroptimists welcomed Marion McChlery as guest speaker at their latest meeting.
Marion gave an illustrated talk on the remit of the Glasgow Preservation Trust. An important aspect of the Trust is to involve local communities who are interested in preserving buildings of historical interest in their area.
She explained the funding and preservation arrangements of the Trust, whose plan is to have buildings, once preserved, used by local communities.
Janice Crawford proposed the vote of thanks to the guest for this interesting talk.
