Animal charity sponsored walk

A SPONSORED dog walk organised by the Lanarkshire supporters’ group of the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals will be held at Strathclyde Park on Sunday, May 18.

The event ius scheduled to start at 2pm and registration will take place at 1.30pm.

The society are appealing to the public to obtain sponsorship for the four-mile walk around the loch.

A shorter route can be arranged if required.

Everyone will be made welcome and there is no need to bring a dog or be a dog owner.
