Animal Aid contest entries wanted

THERE’S only a couple of weeks left for Advertiser readers to send in entries for Animal Aid’s nationwide youth art and poetry competition.

The competition is open to anyone between the ages of 11 and 18 years.

All they have to do is create some artwork, or write a poem, on the theme of factory farming.

The winning entries will be displayed at a London event in July, where TV presenter Wendy Turner-Webster will award the winners their prizes, which include a games console, iPod and digital camera.

All entries should be clearly marked on the back with the entrant’s name, age and address and they should be sent to the following address before April 30: Youth Competition, Animal Aid, The Old Chapel, Bradford Street, Tonbridge, Kent, TN9 1AW.

For further information on the competition, log on to www.veggiemonth.com or telephone 01732 364546.

Kelly Slade, Animal Aid.
