HAMILTON Ramblers had a choice of two walks on their outing to the Wanlockhead area last Sunday.
The shorter, seven-mile walk started at Nethercog Farm, through Bank Wood and onto open country near the ruins of Cogshill Farm.
From there, walkers followed the Southern Upland Way to Wanlockhead.
A longer, 10-mile route started and finished at Wanlockhead.
Walkers went past Black Hill, up Stood Hill and along Willowgrain Ridge before descending down near the ruins of Cogshead Farm.
From there they also picked up the Southern Upland Way back to their starting point.
The next club outing is to the city of Edinburgh on Sunday, March 23, when two walks will again be available.
Anyone wishing to book a seat on the bus should phone 01698 207814.
