HAMILTON Grammar pupils attended a careers convention at the school on Monday night.
The event was described as a great success and more than 500 people attended.
The convention was to promote the various professions and college courses etc. that are currently available to school leavers.
Nearly 40 universities, colleges, training agencies and employers were represented and offered pupils and parents alike valuable information on what subjects to choose for specific courses as well as general career advice.
Members of the school's senior management team also talked to parents and pupils of S2, while pupil support staff were on hand to answer any questions about the options process.
With over 500 people present, pupils from S3 provided refreshments for the busy contributors and worked with staff to make the evening run smoothly.
Organisers Janice Haldane and Robbie Alexander were pleased with the feedback from parents and pupils alike, with the vast majority believing it was a well-organised, worthwhile event that had provided them with important careers information.
