Pair attacked train passenger

A VIEWPARK man attacked a fellow passenger on a train.

Alexander Dodds (18), of Vallantine Crescent, and co-accused Hugh Craig (17), of Mount Vernon, Glasgow, assaulted Alexander Hudson while the train was at Motherwell railway station on May 10.

Dodds and Craig admitted repeatedly punching and kicking Mr Hudson on his head and body.

And Hamilton Sheriff Court was told that Dodds committed the assault while on bail on another matter.

At the sheriff court last week, Sheriff Thomas Welsh deferred sentence on both men for reports and granted both bail.
