Sarah-Elise misses her graduation - to marry!

AN Uddingston woman missed her graduation last week because she had another special date - her wedding!
Sarah-Elise Gibbons, of Langside Avenue, had been due to graduate with BEd (Hons) at Glasgow University.
However, the 25-year-old’s marriage to John Carlin (27), of East Kilbride, at St Columba’s Church, Uddingston, understandably took priority.
Sarah-Elise said: “Graduation is a big thing - but getting married is even bigger!”
One of Sarah-Elise’s fellow graduates brought her diploma and robes to the wedding reception so she could wear them with her tiara.
